Happy Anniversary!

These two went to high school together. Well. They went to the same high school at the same time. Jojo says its probably a good thing they didn't know each other then. (GWR was known for his Wranglers. Jojo was voted "Best Dressed".) Then she went off to UT and he hit the road for Texas A&M. They connected over Thanksgiving break Freshman year ... and that was that.

They got married (duh) about 4 years later and then three years, three hundred sixty four days after that I imposed on their anniversary. What!? I didn't want to miss the party.

Jojo and GWR are a portrait in what a loving, giving, evolving, supportive partnership is supposed to be. When GWR came home with the awful blue mini van (no...SERIOUSLY. He did.) Jojo graciously let it play out. He, thankfully, came to his senses. When Jojo wanted a purple couch in the living room (it's really a lovely aubergine) GWR said "Whatever makes you happy". And make each other happy, they do! 

Happy Anniversary, Jojo and GWR! You haven't changed a bit!

We love you... and we're all really glad you didn't really know each other in high school. xx
