Decade of Friendship

Ten Augusts ago as a Freshman at Texas A&M I met some of the most beautiful women I gladly still call my friends. As far as friendships go, these girls wrote the book. We spent the weekend shopping, hanging out, and reminding ourselves why we liked each other in the first place (which mostly has to do with well timed puns, hilarious jokes, and the art of finishing each other's sentences without trying).

Mmmm! Starbuck's new Trenta size! It's like a classy big-gulp! Shopping the outlets almost did us in...

But we pulled it together for some boutique/antique shopping in Greune!

KDH, JE, KMF, AWB, KEH, CSF and KJC (we missed you if you weren't there!).

Nothing is better after a taxing and grueling day of shopping like dinner on the bank of the Guadalupe River.

When the sun sets in Greune, the party gets started! We didn't hang around for it, but Reckless Kelley was playing at Greune Hall.

We couldn't resist a little more shopping! The Greune Country Store has so many precious and unique things.

I think AWB is illustrating what she's going to feel like the Monday after Spring Break.

I apologize in advance for the following pictures.

As good Pi Phi's  should, AWB and I had a cookie shine! Yes. We even sang the song. Which launched us into another favorite... See an arrow flying by?

...and then we realized we couldn't remember all of the words. But it was all good. We're not prepping for recruitment and until KMF has her baby this summer, we won't be brain washing anyone anytime soon.

Thanks to TRog, Bradley, the Loj and the other "old girls" for inspiring us to also celebrate DOF.

Now, are we on a 5 year or 10 year track for the next one?
