boats at the beach

You might want to get a glass of wine... to go with the cheese I'm about to serve up.

I love (love, love, love) watching the boats go in and out of the harbor in Port Aransas.

I love the working boats,

the little fishing boats,

the shrimp boats, the fancy boats.

Love 'em all. I think about who is on board, where they've been, where they are going... it's all very romantic (in a salty, sandy, humid sort of way).

This is the Captain Miranda of Uruguay.

We saw the last of the "Tall Ships" come in on its way to Ingleside for the Tall Ships festival.

Doesn't Uruguay have a beautiful flag!

I'd just love to know all those people's stories. (And more importantly, how did they land such a great gig? Sail from festival to festival. Hello!?)

That is a coast guard boat... with my lens open for a reeeeeeeeeeeally long time! But a boat, nonetheless!
