An English Wedding

We were so honored to be included as MG and AG's wedding guests.

All of MG's friends and real cousins referred to us as the "American cousins". It was pretty funny.

The ceremony was held at MG's family church in his town.

The biggest difference of the ceremony was the "procession". There really wasn't a procession as we're accustomed to. The mother's were already seated, the bride entered first with her father and she was followed by her witness and bridesmaids.

After the vows were said there was a traditional service and then the bride and groom signed the Church of England's wedding registry and their marriage license in a room off the the side of the main chapel.

After the ceremony was over though, the pictures, reception and party were very familiar. The setting though, was spectacular!

Some more details:

Her sister and his sisters.

The bride and her bridesmaids.

The groom and groomsmen wore navy blue and white polka dots - which is what the groom's father wore when the groom's parent's were married.

MG wore one of the cufflinks his bride gave him...

and one of his dad's. So sweet!

Reception coming soon!
